there are so many good japanese mangas and animes with very good art. so many people like them.. maybe so many muslim people also like them. but why we don't see any muslim manga. I don't know any BIG and Famous muslim manga around. so my dream is to make one special for muslims in sha Allah). with muslim characters and islamic based environment. our culture is rich and can bring a lot to make some wonderful stories for our youth. and from here I started drawing some muslim manga style artworks. I started writing some stories since 1997. so many of the stories I have are still not very well developped. but some are well developped and the characters are already designed. all it needs is some time and I will start drawing them, in sha Allah.here are 3 characters of mine. hope you like them.

I would be absolutely down with a muslim manga, or a manga with a muslim character in it.
Actually, there might be something loosely related. Otoyomegatari (A Bride's Tale) takes place in the 19th century around the Silk Road region. It's one of my most favorite series.

Well manga are by definition, Japanese, but as for comics, I guess they just haven't been written drawn yet.

Did you read a brides story? It's as similar to a Muslim manga that it gets, that I know of, allthought there is no religious enfasis and many mistakes are made, but the aesthetic I mean is closely related.-

Awsome , i can help you , iam an anime freak and iam agraphic dsigner as well. i ALso write stories i know our culture is Very rich and we really can do awsome mangas and anime that eveb beat the japanes one i was thinking about this since i was 12 years old . so i understand your goal and can help you if you need.
