there are so many good japanese mangas and animes with very good art. so many people like them.. maybe so many muslim people also like them. but why we don't see any muslim manga. I don't know any BIG and Famous muslim manga around. so my dream is to make one special for muslims in sha Allah). with muslim characters and islamic based environment. our culture is rich and can bring a lot to make some wonderful stories for our youth. and from here I started drawing some muslim manga style artworks. I started writing some stories since 1997. so many of the stories I have are still not very well developped. but some are well developped and the characters are already designed. all it needs is some time and I will start drawing them, in sha Allah.here are 3 characters of mine. hope you like them.

we've got no Muslim mangas because manga is Japanese and basicaly most mangas take place in Japanese environment.
But if you want a Muslim manga, just draw it ^^ I'd read it for sure!

I know. muslim public likes japanese manga. but it'll certainly enjoy better a manga that is set in a muslim country with muslim characters.

Dude, all cultural differences aside, as a fellow manga lover I must say that if your stories are a TENTH as good as your art, you may be sitting on a gold mine!

manga is just means comics
there are lots of arabic comics and islams
mostly are not fantasy though :]

Actually, I know there's at least one. It's a magical girl series, and when I heard about it, it was apparently running in the middle east and gaining some popularity.
I know it exists because I heard about it on NPR awhile back, but I seem to be having issues Googling it to find out things like what it was called, what countries it was shown in... that sort of thing.
Anyway, great concept, and great character designs!

when I said popular, I meant you hear about it, find it in so many websites. so many people know about it. this is what we can't find in so many muslim manga attempts. I hope we can see some like that someday.
