there are so many good japanese mangas and animes with very good art. so many people like them.. maybe so many muslim people also like them. but why we don't see any muslim manga. I don't know any BIG and Famous muslim manga around. so my dream is to make one special for muslims in sha Allah). with muslim characters and islamic based environment. our culture is rich and can bring a lot to make some wonderful stories for our youth. and from here I started drawing some muslim manga style artworks. I started writing some stories since 1997. so many of the stories I have are still not very well developped. but some are well developped and the characters are already designed. all it needs is some time and I will start drawing them, in sha Allah.here are 3 characters of mine. hope you like them.

I have a suggesstion. Why don't you make manga narrating the days of the prophert (ص) or "واقعة الطف" It would be pretty awesome if you do so!

Well the reason why there isn't much - if any - muslim manga is that in Japan, Islam is a very minor religion. Estimates say there's about 100 000 practicioners of the faith in Japan, and then when you compare it with the population of Japan (approx. 127 million)...
As many people have said, if you want some, you should make it yourself and encourage others. It's highly unlikely any religion gets an accurate representation in japanese manga anyway, I've read a few sort of religious mangas about christianity and they were very tongue in cheek - in one Jesus is a beautiful young woman the main character knocks out and plans to sleep with and they fight the son of satan with guitars... Ehh, I guess you get the idea that it wasn't very serious.

in fact, I don't expect to see a japanese manga related to Islam. I even don't have a good expectations if I hear there is one.
but what I meant here is a manga made by muslims. and in fact, that's what I am doing.

I admit, you got talent, a lot better than I line wise. But remember, manga are not only done because of the art, but also the way the story flows. You seem to have a lot of potential and I can only wish you the best. If you can, try to read both of Scott McCloud's books to understand what I meant by story flow, it also helps in other areas comic wise.

If there isn't one, start one! I'm sure there'll be one in the future. I would like to see more cultural/national manga, and it's most likely starts with independent artists.
