A little detour from my normal fanart. At the end of last year, I started listening to the Myths and Legends podcast on my commute.

A few of the episodes caught my ear and I tried my hand at depicting them. This is the first one from an early episode from the Arthurian canon.

Knight of the round table, Yvain faced some hardships and made some terrible decisions. This left him without purpose. Battle damaged, a lion at his side, and without his status as a knight he fought to free a town from actual demons.

Here he is as just the "Lion Knight" with his lion guardian. I did this in my sketchbook with ink, and a few watercolors. It was fun to draw something from just an audio description.
