Wow! Soul Train was a must see for me too! I remember being awestruck by The Dells, Earth, Wind, & Fire, The Delfonics, Al Green, and so on, and so on! Man, you taking me back! I love it! Funkadelic was ahead of it’s time for sure! Last night on PBS, there was a Lifetime Achievement Award show paying tribute to some of the soul and rock & roll greats from Donny Hathaway to Black Sabbath! I could talk about this for days man! THANK YOU! I found it on youtube. They are celebrating 51 years of epic funkness! So are we! (for me it is about 48 years. I remember them on Soul Train back in the early 1970s) Went and looked it. Bump City 1972.
