The amount of detail found in this piece is astounding. The use of "negative" space, especially in the branches and leaves, is a very useful and creative aspect. The vine around the tree is a nice aesthetic, along with the shape of the small house in the back. However, the branches and bird tend to get lost a bit in the canopy. The foreground also seems a bit flat in places. Perhaps it could have benefited from a little something extra near the bottom in the very front. On a side-note, I think it would be equally amazing to see a colored version of this. This is a very inspiring piece and I would love to see more work like this! Overall, great work!
