Description HAHAHA I am officially done with the Winter Semester! Now I finally have time to draw... and yes, it is more unimaginative fanart.

Sorry to those whom I have to finish requests for, I just had to loosen up a bit after all those exams. I'll start working on them as soon as possible!

I probably put a bit more time into this than I would have expected. At any rate, I've never drawn Shizune before; her hair screws me up so bad. I tried to visualize what she would look like as a young badass Ninja before she becomes Tsunade's homey-biatch.

YES I KNOW IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HER. Inspired by Darkfong's style. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery! Originally black and white (because I had already drawn out the outline when I realized I had forgotten to make the lineart on a new layer) style, but I experimented with the MULTIPLY layer tool. It's not as convenient as I would like, but it'll do. I think I went overboard on the fishnets.

Honest clothes, no big butt outline neither breasts and something I can see a shinobi wearing. THANK YOU! This is awesome, just amazing

Thanks, I like giving characters their own outfits instead of the official clothing sometimes, it's really fun.

Haha, yeah but they're all good styles. I think that it's good to have a variety. I'm not sure why, but I think it's good...

I know that I should really spend time and really practice on one style to get it down before bouncing around, because I end up not really being very good at anything. But whenever I see new art in a style I like, I just have to try it out.

So far, I've tried black and white contrast, manga-style colored lineart, iDNAR realistic style... I'm thinking of practicing with "Gone with the Blastwave" comic style soon. (If you haven't seen this webcomic... you should, the art's pretty good, and the story has some *random* humor)

I think that before you can spend time on a certain style, you have to find the one that suits you best and the one you are most comfortable with. It's true that you can be good at many things but not be great at one thing. But first, I think-- and this is my opinion-- that you have to find the one that you think you can be truly great at and one that you really enjoy doing seriously instead of just testing it out.

It seems like you have a grasp of that style, whether you see it or not, because it reflects in your pieces. I'm not saying that all your pictures look the same, but that they all have a certain likeness that only seems to point to you. You can see it in all of your pictures and recognize it. I think once you figure out what that style is that accents all your pictures, you can finally figure out how to improve on it...

Yeah, I think there is something in my drawing style that I don't see in other (anime-ish) fanart, but I don't know what it is yet. I think it's the eyes.

Thanks a bunch for the feedback, I may have said this before but I REALLY appreciate insightful comments!~

Ah, yes... the eyes. Could be. It could also be the way you draw the characters in general. I don't know, it just seems like all your art has this one thing where I know it's your art.

Anytime at all! ^^

Great! What I'm most afraid of is doing completely generic fanart. I think my drawing style has always been somewhat *unique* (this can be good or bad), but only recently has it turned into something that I'm sometimes proud of/satisfied with.

Yeah, I think pretty much every artist's goal is to have their own style. The style that they can really call theirs. I think you've got it, as long as you know what it is. I think it's something you can be proud of! It's a great style, you're doing great!

Thanks a bunch! I personally think the color choices may seem kind of odd, but I guess that's a subjective matter.
