That part still makes me wanna cry. Especially 'cos when either I played (or watched the special movie disc that came with Ep II) by myself or with Kosy(Alita) my character was Shion.
All I can say is, it's a good thing Shion didn't hear her say that because the atmosphere was too thin to carry her voice, or I think she would've lost it. I kinda did. And the two songs - "Kokoro" and "Pain" still make make my cry, even though I love them...and let's not get into Ep III...
On a happier side, love the expression you gave her here. Perfect!

It is...Xenosaga (all of them) weren't short on touching scenes. Like in Ep III, where Shion & everyone find her in that "trash" room. That scene after she's started up again, and Shion walks over & hugs her. I can never watch that and come away with dry eyes. I liked the difference you could see in KOS-MOS's reaction there & after fighting Voyager when Shion glomps her & faints. You could see there was caring in her expression.
That fight with Voyager has gotta be my absolute fave scene!! LOVE the way she bursts outta her stasis pod & kicks his ass!!

the basic line of the anime is not really changing the whole story of the saga, so it's really don't make that much confuses for me. ^^
