"Emberlight!"
With a flick of her ear, the ginger tabby turned to meet the cat who'd called her name. Shuffling after her, a white she-cat with a dark tail and booted paws of the same ink toned hue hesitated beside her. Emberlight recognized Briarmoon instantly.
Her clanmate quirked her lips into a smile and waved her black tar stained tail happily. "Hey, Emberlight."
"Do you need something, Briarmoon?" The petite warrior responded bluntly, cutting straight to the point as to avoid needless small talk. She'd never spoken to the white warrior on a personal level before, and she wasn't particularly interested to change that.
The other seemed a little taken back by her brashness, and dropped her aqua blue eyes to the leafy and grassy ground. "Well, I was wondering since we're leaving for the battle any minute now.." Her white pelted acquaintance stalled, shuffling her paws as they tore at the foreign, overgrown grass blades. Narrowed olive eyes hurried her along, and she finally spat out. "Since you've been to Moonclan's camp and have seen their territory, I was wondering what it was like."
Emberlight suppressed a small sigh. She'd already given her whole account to Ebonystar and Cinderstar and she didn't feel like going through it again. Although, she couldn't blame her clanmate's curiosity. Compared to their open layout territory, forests were starkly different with their towering trees that acted like a prison. "Their territory is like Dawnclan's forest, but imagine double the trees.. maybe even triple. There is so much underbrush that the sun's rays hardly reach the ground. It's pretty brutal." The tabby admitted without sugarcoating her thoughts.
Briarmoon's eyes welled and she opened her mouth to respond, though before she managed a single word another voice sounded.
"Emberlight?"
The tone was low and husky, and all too familiar. Lightningblaze. She didn't even need to see his face to identify the voice to him.
A quiet curse escaped Emberlight's mouth, and the tabby jumped back into action, hurrying away before the ginger Tom could catch her. Briarmoon yelped at her sudden departure and in between jogging after her cried. "Hey, wait up!"

So so after talking to Feral-Spirit I found I've never drawn Briarmoon, and thus sought out an excuse to draw the fluffy butt ! I'm sure I oopsed her design gomen ;;

Anyway, wonder why Ember is avoiding Lighting hmmm

+1 point to Pebbleclan because Emb n Briar are -arguably- preparing for the battle by asking about the terrain.
