..this was also inspired at first by Lovecraft, though maybe its not that obvious...
a color in form of a meteorit came down to earth on a farm and it turned the area around it into a bizarre, colorful landscape and turned the people crazy
i really like how it turned out
thanks to the wonderful textures from * aleksandra and ~resurgere
i think its kinda difficzlt to find the right category for this, maybe i'll change it later .. too bad the Dark section is gone

I loved it... specially 'cause you took a very good aproximation of the general feeling of the story...
It really is a great work 'cause as a "color-that-is-not-quite-a-color" as Lovecraft told us in the story, it is VERY hard to portrait in an image... and you got to evoke the exact feeling and atmosphere of the house...

the sky and landscape are both very well done. and you did a great job at making an average structure seem disturbing and frightening. I wouldn't want to go in.

very nicely dark and moody... like from a horror movie. i bet i'm not the first one to say that. anyway nice job in creating the mood with all that dark sky and stuff. takes imagination and 'view' to do that whole

Something about this makes me want to just keep staring at it. All the different textures and the big contrast between the barn and it's surroundings make it really great, I love it.

"The Color Out Of Space" the texture is great with the spatering of paint. The white tree looks like lightning climing to the heavens. MASTERFUL WORK...Bravo well done....

I really like how this turned out too... I completely adore it! The spots of colors against the dark colors are amazing, and the whole feel of it is overwhelming. It's a superb piece. Both subtle and slightly disturbing.

I love the scratchy look here. Never read any Lovecraft but it reminds me of Stephen King. The whole mood of the piece is great. I'm in awe.
