..this was also inspired at first by Lovecraft, though maybe its not that obvious...
a color in form of a meteorit came down to earth on a farm and it turned the area around it into a bizarre, colorful landscape and turned the people crazy
i really like how it turned out
thanks to the wonderful textures from * aleksandra and ~resurgere
i think its kinda difficzlt to find the right category for this, maybe i'll change it later .. too bad the Dark section is gone

this has a very eerie, creepy feeling to it. obviously. there's something about being out in the country and seeing a deserted house like this that just gives me the willies. the scenery and the atmosphere really accents that feeling. the texture is well done too. very nice work.
i'm a huge fan of lovecraft and was partially attracted to this because of the title. its great that you made a connection between the literature and managed to illustrate it.

Your style kills. My heart is beating dangerously slow and my breath is too shallow to be healthy. The work you do is intense, incredible. It's like you're creating a whole new world and I can't tell you how amazing it is. You're making images with atmosphere that I've only seen in dreams or imagined while reading crazy stuff.

I like the scratches....it both makes the picture seem somehow old and serves to give it an "otherworldly" quality. Very nice. I always had trouble visualizing this story...I always seemed to imagine it more in glowing neon/radioactive colors. I think this more subdued picture is much more appropriate to his style. Nice job!
