This is my entry for 's little contest: [link] Promt was "Rainbow Dash in a pirate costume dancing on a treasure chest" with "bonus points" for the other characters in the story this is based on. Pinkie is almost stealing the show here. Almost. Anyway, you should read the story. It's good.
Can't think of anything else to write here, other than that my new pencils are the most awesome things ever to come in a little, green, sexy, metallic case. And if I ever were to do commissions, this would be the highest I would go in complexity.

Right ... hiding. Thank you. I put some effort into the details, but the original sketches were bigger than they are on the final sheet. I could have put more in, but time was running out. I even tried shading the buttons on the costumes.

I was going to complain that Applejack isn't in this picture, but in my headcanon, it's because she's in the other room having it on with Rarity. So all is good.

Thanks. This is supposed to take place in Sugarcube Corner, so they might just have locked themselves in Pinkie's room. In the story there's also Derpy, Dinky and Fluttershy. Who know what they're doing? And Twilight and alcohol is generally not a good combination.
I used six pencils for the shading here, but I got lazy towards the end. I can see some places I missed and some I made too dark. But overall I'm fairly happy with how it turned out.

Oh, I bet you would. You just wouldn't recognize them as such. Things looking "weird", "off" or like they were built at an angle in the scene that doesn't fit with the rest. Also objects not getting smaller the further away they are.
