Something really quick I tried to sketch out. >_> Some sort of scene involving a totally bashed out (as usual) Kirk, with Bones and Spock standing watch to make sure they all don't get their brains eatened by some alien creature or something.They're seriously the most awesome OT3 out there, though. <3 Missions with them usually revolve around this same pattern:
Kirk gets injured/incapacitated/has bodily harm in some way.
Spock states how irrevocably illogical whatever Kirk did was.
Bones runs around and frets over both of them like a mother hen.
I posted this on the ST2009 LJ community first, though, and that may spawn some sort of fanfic. <3 Which I'm super excited to see happen...~
And yes, the movie is still infecting my brain. And has been for a while. >D

Sure it's a crossover with the Mary Russell series and I have major oc character that I think I've been successful in de-Mary Sueing as much as possible. I'm not very good at synphosis(s) but I will tell you some things that are in it:
-Spock and Uhura are a couple in this fic
-The major oc character does eventually end up with one of the canon characters (but not in this fic!)
-The oc character does play a major role in the resolution (don't worry she doesn't unrealistically come out unscatched) and becomes a hero in her own right.

Omfg! I loved these 3 when I was like, 4 years old, just sitting in front of the television drooling over their pure awesomeness! Kirk should really learn to think before acting. But then again, if he didnt, these 3 wouldnt be as lovable.

I remember watching a few episodes when I was a kid too, but I was more of a Voyager person. :3 (Even as a kid watching TOS I was like: WTF IS THIS LOLZ) But lately I try to catch an episode or two every now and then, even though the cornyness makes me twitch a bit. XDD

I was just the opposite. XDDD I grew up watching TOS whenever I was at my grandmothers house. Then, when I got older and my mother started watching Voyager and she said it was Star Trek, I was all, "FDJSAJFKDSLFASDGFA NU-UH!! D:<" XD Same thing with TNG. I see Picard for the first time and I'm like, "WHO THE HELL IS THAT! D':<" It took me a while to relize Star Trek wasnt just Kirk, Spock, and McCoy.
The cheesyness of Star Trek is what makes it so awesome.

They are indeed the ultimate OT3. I love this new Kirk/Spock/Uhura OT3, but this will always be the original.
