Description
This was a piece of art done for a book cover. These are Spitfire planes. The plane in the front was piloted by a man named Art Donahue and he was an American pilot that became a commander of a British squad. He has quite an amazing story. I also made this into a large Giclee Print and small Giclee print. You can see the prints here www.mastersofchickenscratch.comRelated content

Is the blue supposed to highlight the plane, or was Art Donahue secretly a wizard who could conjure up blue auras?

Quite welcome! I'm usually not that short with a comment but I really didn't see need to get into technical stuff, it's a really well done piece. Simple, it's always badass seeing Spitfire art
Cheers!
