Description
HihoWhen I arrived at home at 11:30 I decided to render it again over night, just with a new light
I tested a few light and decided to choose an red/orange spotlight which should look like sunlight in the evening and this is the result
Hope you like that more
Here you can see the water and trees better, but its still dark cause it is in the evening and there is not that much light... xD
Enjoy
spaceship model from a free meshes site (not mine)!
made with Vue D'Esprit
p.s.
this time I needed more then 10h to render it xD
here is a screenshot xD [link]
you can see there how it is build and how the program looks like if somebody wants to know

I like especially the moon and the sky. It's not too dark, I think. *THUMBS UP*

don't forget it's at the sunset, there is just a few light left
it has to be dark, otherwise it looks strange with to much light in the evening
think about a deep wood, there isn't that much light cause all the leaves are blocking it^^ and so there is just a bit on the top, the last diffusing rays^^

well just my opinion. but the ship looks great. how long did it take you to model that?

to model it?....
you know, I am not that pro... I just practice with this programm xD
it is a free mesh from a great guy^^
building objects in vue is really difficult
With the first prog I tried something like that I was able to set polygons and put them whereever I wanted, and I built really great models^^
but this prog is many years too old to convert xD
If I do that I would make it^^ but at the moment I have to use free stuff xD

well than you have to credit it.
all the people that admired your work though you made all that from scratch but actually you just put the stuff together and rendered it.
i'm disappointed.

ok, than I will credit it
but it isn't just putting stuff together and render it...
it is the same with your first pictures, you used stocks to work on them...
this answer is a violent insult... it is just the ship
the ship is just one part of the picture a draw a better atmosphere, you forgot about the all the other settings with this program
honestly, I'm really shocked about your simplification on my "work"

ok, maybe i got a bit carried away with my criticism. but this is not 3-d art. at least not what i consider 3-d art. for me it means creating a world from nothing, building an atmospheare and a story behind it. what did you do to make this happen? you just put stocks on a canvas and plasced some lights.
i'm sorry if i don't get your point here.
btw. what was the refrence to my work about? what did i use stocks for?
