Description
"He reads so fast," she said. "He's so useful."
The man smiled, his eyes still scanning the page. "Yes, the Speed Reader Automaton is quite impressive. It can read and sort through information faster than any human."
The automaton in question was seated with them, its clockwork gears whirring quietly as it flipped through a stack of papers. It was a marvel of engineering, with its gleaming brass body and intricate mechanisms that allowed it to read at lightning speed.
"I still like to read just for practice," the woman said, turning back to her own paper. "But I have to admit, it's impressive."
The man nodded, setting down his paper and turning to the automaton. "How does it work?" he asked, his curiosity piqued.
The automaton looked at him, its eyes glowing with a faint blue light. "I am equipped with a series of microchips and advanced algorithms," it said, its voice soft and metallic. "These allow me to scan and process information at an accelerated rate, far beyond the capabilities of human eyes and brains."
The man nodded, impressed. "It's incredible. And to think, just a few years ago, microchips were nothing but rumors and whispers."
The woman smiled, looking out the window at the passing scenery. "The world is changing so fast," she said. "Who knows what marvels we'll see next."
