Well, I was finally able to schedule that kimono photoshoot I wanted with the turning leaves. My photographer also had lots of time on her hands, so I was able to wear three ensembles. All of these pictures were taken on my university campus.I wanted an antique ensemble, so I brought out Netsu-un and paired it with a Taisho period nagoya obi with a design of tsuzumi hand-drums. The obi is a little too slippery for my tastes, and the knot came undone too easily. Still, I had fun

The combination of colours in the kimono and the obi is perfect. I love the way the obi pops out so to say.

I thought the colors were great, too. The blue really jumped out when paired next to the purple of the kimono and reds/oranges of the leaves. I was really happy with how it came out

The kimono is such a lovely colour, it looks purple in these pictures. The obi is beautiful too. Lovely photos, lovely colours!
