The 137th Annual Miyako Odori of the maiko and geiko of Gion Kobu."The finale is a dance amongst cherry blossoms in full bloom at Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine. The shrine will celebrate its 1150th Anniversary next year, and a large-scale restoration is underway. Because the shrine chamber needs to be relocated for the restoration, many special rituals are scheduled to be held in April, which is the same period as the Miyako Odori. The shrine had been greatly venerated by the court and samurai, and today many people still believe in the deity. The annual festival, known as the Iwashimizu festival, is held on September 15."

It seems like Wakana has slimmed up a bit. Maybe it's the angle but her cheeks don't seem as chubby anymore.
She should be due to have her eri-kae soon, right? I'm so excited. I can't wait to see how she'll look in katsura!

She is due, but ranking wise there are a couple other girls infront of her, so it might be a little drawn out. I really hope it's while I'm still in Japan... I've been saying that so much lately...
