While attempting to draw what I thought Discord might look like as a pony, I noticed that he seemed to be oddly small for a stallion and then realized that I had exactly zero reference pictures of male ponies from the show. Looking through various pony drawing guides and tutorials, I then noticed that there weren't any side-by-sides of a mare and a stallion. So, in order to make a more accurate comparison, I decided to make one by tracing over a screen shot of Dr. Whooves that I saw on the mlp wiki and a still image of Twilight that I got off of ponychan quite a while back. Then I went looking through google images to see if the height comparison seemed about right. It appears to be correct, though I've had only my own judgement to go off of.I added in the green lines afterwards to show the various distances between different parts of the ponies and to better show the height difference.
I hope this simple size comparison can help out anyone else who's been looking for something like it.
Twilight Sparkle and Time Turner/Dr Whooves belong to Hasbro.

Is he really smaller than some of the gals in ponyville? o: I've always assumed that he was the biggest pony on the show, excepting Celestia, Chrysallis, etc.

I'm certain that somewhere along the line, there are some Pegasus mares, Unicorn mares, & Earth Pony mares bigger than him.

Well, there's that Unicorn mare with the Fleur-de-lis cutie mark. Besides her, I'm sure there are other mares bigger than Big Mac. We just haven't seen them in canon yet. Also, you double posted.

I don't remember the unicorn with a fleur-de-lis cutie mark. I'll have to look for her. And, actually, I just hit submit comment too soon before I'd finished replying, so I had to leave a second comment. I wish we could edit comments for times like that.

I myself mostly want to be able to edit my already-posted comments so I can fix grammar/spelling errors. If it were possible to make it so it won't be able to save your edits to comments you already posted unless all you did was fix grammar errors or otherwise undo something you didn't want to do (like removing multiple posted instances of the same comment, combining 2 comments that you posted that were responses to the same comment & were meant to be part of 1 comment that you ended up having to double post due to not finishing the previous comment), that would be different.
