Back in highschool, in my group of close friends, there's this tiny girl who came from Cambodia, name Miah, she's super small and mega extra unlimited cute, every girls in class liked to hug her whenever they saw her standing or sitting alone. But most of the time she was in my arms so they didn't really have a lot of chance, heheh. She's didn't talk much, and rarely show any strong expression on her face, she always just sat there and listened to us, only answered when asked and those answer was always short, like, "yes", "no", "I like it", "I hate it".. At first I think it's because of her Vietnamese wasn't very good, but later I think that's just her personality. However, she's a really good kid, I mean, really really really good, purely good, she care for everyone, she's good at reading people, know what they need and often helped out without saying anything, everyone in class loved her.
Her family ran a noodles restaurant and she always helped out afterschool, I liked the food there so I came to eat from time to time she was a silent kid at home too, but I can see she did her best to take over all the works, make her parents rest as much as possible.

Also, there's this one and only guy in my group, he's funny and smart and can be super annoying sometime, err.. yeah, the type of guy will be super popular if he's a bit more handsome. We all called him "Glasses" instead of his realname, half of my classmate wore glasses but he's the only one in my group, I think I was the first one called him that ( and he called me fat ), then it somehow became his nickname ( and fat became my nickname ) even some teachers called him that ( and they sometime called me fat too ), I and him was close, not guys and girls kind of close, we are more like... bros. However, at some point in the second year, the girls keep telling me that he has a crush on me, I just laughed it off, I read enough manga to predict this kind of rumor will come since we were that close, but being asked "what do you think about him" over and over again made me gave it some thought too, my final conclusion was "I like him a bit". But meh, liking someone is nothing special, we all like a lot of people in our life, there's no way he like me for real and I liked us the way we were, so, meh.
However, one year later, in our gradutation trip, at night, on the beach - no no no stop thinking about those romatic scenes, there was a bunch of classmates drinking and yelling and dancing shamelessly around us, the wind was strong enough to blow Miah away and it was cold as hell ( and he did not have any coat to gave me ) - back to the topic, he said, he did had a crush on me, but when he thought about us being together as a couple, we will break up in 2 days, so he didn't even try. And I agreed with him, we both have a bit of self-center personality inside us, we have many common hobbies but we disagree in the details a lot, we joke around, make a fuss every breaktime, people think we are close but a lot of time that is just our friendly way of argument.

And here's the reason for this picture
In all the stories, comics I ( planned to ) create, there're always these 2 kind of characters, a small-slient girl, a genius-funny guy, which was created base on those 2 friends, and they are always the strongest ones, I didn't mentioned earlier but both of them are good at martial arts, Glasses learned Takewondo, Miah learned some kind of Combodian's martial art, I can't even read the name, I've never seen them fight for real but I saw them pratised sometime and were very cool.
Anyway, neither in my stories, or in real life, they almost had nothing to do with each other, even we are all play in a same group, but Miah hardly said anything, and even if Glasses was funny and annoying but he's polite enough to not mess up with people who don't want to talk much. So they were just like a friend of friend to each other. However, after highschool, most of my classmates went study abroad, and those 2 went to a same country, and somehow, just lastweek, I heard from both of them that they're seeing each other. I was sock, I mean, them ? together ? that was unpredictable, I can not even imagine it. However, I'm very happy about that, both them are my most important friends in this world, I hope they can walk together till the end.

When searched for their old drawings, I realized I did drew a piece of them together, this is where the teacher gave out a problem, who can solve it will get a 10, Miah raised her hand and was given the chance, but Glasses asked for a fight, who can do faster will get the 10, the teacher think it's interesting and accepted that, Glasses did faster but he made a sum mistake at the final caculation ( and I bet it was on purpose, he just want to make a fuss )
