Aaand so~~ Here is HEI from 'Darker than Black' in my own style!
How are his eyes?? Are they outstanding in the dark?><
Alright. As you can see, the method and feel of the colouring is different compared to the rest of the Requests which I've done before.
This time----> It's still coloured with Photoshop, BUT WITHOUT the use of the 'Magic Wand' tool~
While thinking about how to do this request, a Rainy night scene came into mind.
I've been wanting for so long to try it out digitally... And finally I made it!!Hope I clearly conveyed the wet effects in this piece!><
The city scene below is purely Digitally drawn and coloured (Except for their structural outlines)
The cathedral on which HEI is on, and the Gargoyle, are purely random ideas which, in my opinion, compliments this night rain scenery, as well as HEI's dark and enigmatic nature~
Yet another chance to practice my Backgrounding~

i can sympathize with the difficulties of using that kind of coloring, I'm trying that on some of my drawings, and it is HARD! (i don't have a tablet either.)
i think you did a great job on the eyes, they really stick out, but i cant really figure out why... you did a great job!

yea, the colorin is alot smoother. and the view is amazing. good job with rain and city.
but all that cud be inproved. the lines are sketchy. u cud fix it by creating a new layer over the sketch, and making a finish line.
i think thats all. maybe a lil more detail i guess
