I'm giving the gift of patience to my sister, because she is impatient in most areas...especially with other people (emotionally)
The ability to be patient is an important one, you may slip and fall into the water if you are impatient and don't plan carefully before jumping to the next stepping stone.

I was pondering whether to choose a night setting or sunset.
But chose sunset, because it represents the end of the day, and regardless of the time it is more wise not to rush to get where you want. The open water creates a sense of calmness and simplicity; as you just focus on one step at a time.
