Jonagold is pretty antisocial for his age. He doesn't like hanging around the other teenagers and just ends up working and hanging out with his sister. Well, he did until Parlor Tricks came along. Now he fears for his life whenever the circus comes into town and locks all his doors. This doesn't work, ever, and he's usually forced to hang out with Parlor until the circus leaves.

But hey, a little interaction with other ponies couldn't hurt him.
