I really didn't like the hairstyle they gave her and as such I tamed it down a bit. Once again these are just changes that please me, I'm not saying that hasbro's design is bad and that you're not allowed to like it. (Also whenever I tried drawing it she got elvis hair, so that's also a thing.)
And low quality due to future plans and possible changes.
But yeah, there are quite a few changes here and there on Rainbow.

Hasbro. Please for the love of god look at this person's designs and adopt the shit out of them. PLEASE. Your designs are horse shit. These are more understated, and are beautiful. Yours look like you took paint and hair extensions and threw them at the M6 will-e nil-e. Fox, great job on these. I'll probably get a print of TS if the quality holds and you end up offering prints.

I was hoping to turn the set into prints. I just have to finish it up really. Also I have a couple tweaks I have to make to them all but if people would like them as prints I can definitely work on getting that up.

How about Hasbro adopt my design of a Super form for Dash, instead, which is more well-known among bronies and is something I've been trying to get to them for two years straight now? =/

The mane on RP Dash doesn't really look like a mohawk to me. Just a ridiculously long mane is all I see, really.

That could be true, but given that they made it flowing back behind her in a giant hair spike that's the first impression that I got. And it was just something that didn't fit with my taste. As stated before, the original design is not necessarily bad and whether you like it or not is your opinion. These redesigns are just something that fit with what I like a little better is all and if other people like them then that's just fine.
More popular design? Looking over it for just a moment I don't see anything too bad. It definitely fits with the whole 'hyper' feel. As just the design itself I'm okay with the hair as it definitely looks more like a 'charged up' type feeling and hasn't decided to become the size of her entire body. I do question the change in eyes and cutie mark, but that's just me. It's your design, so I can't complain nor do I really want to. You've gotten the feeling across nicely so I can applaud you on that one.
Besides, I had issues with just more than hair when it came to the RP designs, that was just the thing that irked me most when it came to RD. Hope that answered your question. :3
