This absolutely killed me and I still might go back to it but I'm relatively happy. It's how I imagine a real Marshtomp to look!

It's also my first entry into 's contest. For those who don't know, there are three parts to it. The first is a realistic Pokemon and the last two are fanmon designs. I've designed the first and I'll have that up soon. Hopefully I can design another before the deadline

For those interested, I based it mostly off of an axolotl, which is probably most noticable in the head and external gills. Due to its length, I based its stance more on a frog than an axolotl, and I used salamander references for the skin. The fins are based on the caudal fins of fish.

Also, for anyone who was wondering why its leg looks weird, it's supposed to be in the air. 8D

ALSO I almost forgot! I drew a sketch of it standing just to show how it would. I imagine it mainly crawling, like Swampert is shown to do, but being capable of standing and maybe even walking upright for a few steps.
