These are Dunsparce... burrowing... yup.I'm sure I have better pictures to upload, but I thought this one was cute. I'm drawing underdrawn Pokemon on Bulbagarden, and someone requested Dunsparce. I happen to love Dunsparce. They're so cute! They really need an evolution though, and it really needs to be a ground type. Really, why is a burrowing snake Pokemon NORMAL? And it didn't learn dig naturally until Diamond and Pearl. Poor Dunsparce, it's so unloved.
This took 40 minutes at Bulbagarden Oekaki. Of course, the 'kaki went down while I was trying to submit it, so it took over an hour more to submit it. >_> At least I didn't lose it.

Nice drawing. Dusparce reminds me of a Death bee. So I cought one and nicknamed him: Death Bee. I think he's very cute. I'm going to train him for the E4.

I remember getting excited when I caught my first Dunsparce in Gold... but it was only cute so I didn't really use it. I wish it would at least get better stats. :\

You're welcome! ^^ Pokemon has always been like that... some are just novelty Pokemon that only look cool/cute, but aren't very practical in battle unless you are really good at strategy.

My fave normal type. I love Dunsparce. But there so under appriciated. I made a poll once on Quizilla and 75% of the people who answered didn't remeber Dunsparce.

Nah, it needs no evolution, Thunder wave + Headbutt with it's serene grace ability makes it untouchable! Couple that with it's moderately low speed (good for gyroball) and odd ability to learn Roost, it can hang in forever!

Until you factor in its 70 and 65 base defenses, of course. Dunsparce has a wonderful moveset and all but because of its stats, it's pretty much stuck in UU. Plus it looks like it could evolve to me :3

Aww, nice. ^w^ You're right about the evolution, seeing as it was based off of a legendary creature(a japanese fat snake ^-^) you'd think it would get more attention. *sniff* T-T

Yeah, I love Pokemon based off of legends. But Dunsparce is hardly legendary. All it has really is serene grace, and Togekiss can use it better. Then again, there are tons of other Pokemon based off of legends that aren't all that strong (Tropius, for one).

The creature Dunspare is based off of [link] is more along the lines of the Giant Squid or the Locke Ness monster. It appears in stories and myths, and there is enough sightings to warrant that it might exist, though no actual proof has been presented. I like Tropius as well, and know of the creature it's based off of as well. ^-^ Another example of one from little-known legends is Sneasel, which is based off a Japanese Kamaitachi demon.
