Description
Now I'm a huge nerd when it comes to freshwater inverts so when I first saw an ostracod I knew I had to make a fakemon based on it! For those who don't know, ostracods are actually crustaceans but they look more like... sentient seeds. They look kind of asymmetrical so I wanted to capture that in my design. The evo also draws from shrimp and hermit crabs to give it a more crustacean-y look.

So about these mons themselves. They are both pure Water type! They're found by surfing in still water (ponds, swamps, etc). They're not very quick swimmers and instead float motionless, grabbing what food comes by. When attacked, Ostrodd will shoot a stream of bubbles. Orbizarre can bioluminesce and will flash brightly to blind its attacker.
