Hello everyone!
My new gen includes Dualama, Molantine and Gifchick so far, so lets throw in some more
These are my snorkel pokemon, they might be the water starters, i'm not sure yet (Feedback please)

Basic Stage: Snorba - The Snorkel Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Name Meaning: Snorkel-Scuba
[Evolves at lvl 20]
Snorba graze in shallow waters, the fin on it's back not only keeps it afloat, but also allows the mother to spot her child.

First stage: Snorking - The Snorkel Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Name Meaning: Snorkel-King
[Evolves at lvl 32]
These slow moving creatures will munch the waterweed as they graze, submerged underwater. All that can be seen from above is the fin on its back and its breathing tube.

Second Stage: Scubarine - The Diving Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Torrent
Name Meaning: Scuba-Marine
Because it dives deeper in search of food, it has developed its own tanks allowing it to breathe underwater for up to 20 minutes.

I like the snorkel idea. It just seems like such a natural adaptation for a shallow water creature. Are these guys by any chance partially based of elephants? The snorkel would obviously be the trunk and they even have those tiny teeth, like proto-tusks.

Yeah I guess subconsciously they might have been based on elephants, I didn't actively do it though. Glad you like them!

I find the designs could be better. But still,l great drawings! Lots of talent, that's for sure.

After seeing your work I think you could make better water starters not to say i don't like these, but it's your choice.

yea, maybe you could give the last one a a different attribute aswell as water.
E.g Water/steel?

Well it was going to be water/steel or water/dark but i realised it really has no steel or dark attributes. If they were to be a starter - they'd be purely water. but thanks for the idea
