Maybe someday. I would suggest just trying to draw the ponies you own. Also use official art, coloring books, and fan art for references. Once you get used to drawing them you can get more creative and change stuff around. That's how I learned.

Ink, yes. Marker, no. Colored pencil, no. I did do one illustration for college in colored pencil though (Will upload it later). Some projects you can use whatever medium you want.
