18" x 24" oil on linenI am submitting this to Mesmerizing Animals contest, motherhood.
Mother elephant at the waterhole with her calf, who thinks the mud is great fun. This baby elephant was fun to watch at the Montegomery Zoo rolling in the mud puddles.

Yep, yep. My trips to the zoo pay off sometimes. You have to go all the way to Montgomery to see elephants if you live in Pensacola. I didn't go to see them, but they were some of the ones that got painted. The scenery is about 5 photos from Africa I got off the internet and used for ideas. The zoo elephants were just by some mud puddles getting dirty.
