Well.. I decided to rework my Error 404 page contest entry [link] to make something a little more interesting. And I felt the urge to draw a gremlin-kangarooI was trying to add a bit of texture and make the colouring a bit more painterly.. dunno how successful I was. I think it turned out pretty well.. but I'd really like some feedback on that area in particular

Incredible I don't like the plainness of stitchface's .. face. his mouth, anyways. the little gremlin creature has a well defined and shaded mouth and jaw and such, but stitchface just has the overexagerated teeth, with no lips and well... you gotta have lips!! ;p
Great shading, and awesome work overall... and well, the whole idea is awesome, its really good ;p

your style is soo unique that it is hard for me to even critique it. the only thing id do to this is perhaps make the shadow on the ground more complex instead of a circle. other than that its an interesting piece, very fun to look at. im digging the goofy look on the cat thing.

... okay, that's a gremlin... I was gonna say, "sheesh, FD, but that's the weirdest looking green cat I've ever seen..."
... what caps the gruesome charm on this is how the stitchface figure has this flat grin plastered on his face, like this is all no big deal... great job on the background, it looks like watercolor splotches...

You really pulled of the "Painterly" look. I can see the brush strokes, and they look good. I liked the err0r404 piece that you did, and I like this even more. I was seriously staring at it for a minute or two and smiling. The idea of the piece is just so odd, I love that. The gremlin is a nice touch, his eyes are really cool (good shading, and lack of pupils).
All in all another great piece from you FD. I look forward to your next piece, as I enjoy this one.
