Discipline: Barrel racing, trick riding, general mounted games
Personality: Submissive, gentle, eager to please, athletic, not outstandingly intelligent but he does have his moments of brightness when it's his turn with the braincell
Genotype: Ee/Aa
Phenotype: Standard Bay

Other Info: He's prone to injuries due to his severe lack of common sense and understanding of things such as gravity. Despite his breed, Fungus never showed any talent for jumping or dressage and much prefers the western discipline. He has an uncommon eye color (green around the pupil). He has a 30% chance of passing this trait to his offspring.

Backstory:
Fungus is Lisa's favorite colt. He was originally an eventing prospect but he never enjoyed his work. Lisa tried him on a barrel course for fun and suddenly everything changed. He was much more excited about racing around a bunch of barrels than leaping over hurdles. Lisa always had a preference for western sports but she never liked quarter horses. Now, with Fungus, she could do what she loved with a breed that she loved.
After getting back from A Trek Across Namibia , Noah wanted Lisa to train his new horse, Merciful . Lisa had hoped trek would go badly and change Noah's mind about rehabilitating Phoenix when she signed them up and was shocked when he reported that the mare saved his life twice. Lisa uses very traditional methods of training and feels threatened by Noah's alternative methods.
When Noah asked her to train his new Namib horse, Merciful, she snapped at him, asking him why he didn't do it himself since he obviously knows better than her. Noah, not wanting to admit he had no idea what he was doing, made an excuse that he didn't have time to train a new horse.
Lisa had been working with Fungus along with a few client horses and didn't have time to take on a completely green horse. She made a deal with Noah that if he took Fungus and won some barrel competitions, she would train Merciful. She knew he would fail.
