This mare is loving and kind and very intuitive. She seems to connect with people quickly and craves human interaction. She is very gentle and was very easy to train. Around the stable she is curious and friendly and doesn't seem like she ever meets a stranger. With a bit more experience, she would likely make a great lesson horse due to her forgiving nature. It must be noted, however, when spooked, Mercy will bolt with or without her rider intact. She will panic and quickly become dangerous if unable to do so. Her trainer has noted it's best hang on and let her calm herself down, rather than fight it.

Backstory:
Mercy was born into a breeding program in Namibia and trained to pack. Noah chose her to ride on A Trek Across Namibia with plans to resell her afterwards. He fell in love with her and instead took her home with him afterwards. Noah didn't have the time or the knowledge to train a new horse so he made a deal with his sister, Lisa, to train Mercy in exchange for winning some ribbons with her horse, Fungus .
They both knew he would fail his end of the deal but Noah didn't want to admit he didn't really know how to ride so he agreed. Lisa took Fungus back when she saw how poorly they were preforming and cut contact with Noah. Noah was used to his sister's tantrums and patiently waited for her to start speaking to him again. After five months passed and he still didn't have any updates on his horse he decided to bring Mercy home while his sister was away.
