Description
I am pretty sure my dad didn't say this but I've heard it. The things he does are still lol though, like try to convince me how cool he is with lgbt people by telling vignettes of his young-manhood that involve him being in Kansas and not gaybashingbut anyway, come on you know the gay channel is desperate for shows, this will be picked up like instantly
ogod what is even the audience for this comic, like .05% of the population or something? This is such a bad business model what was I thinking

Sounds like my dad, just is my dad more disgusted when he hears something about lgbtq+ community. Even though he doesn't even knows what it means

ha! i love this idea! i would so watch this show! i think it's great that it points out that our society is so hetero centric most people will totally misunderstand if they hear about a ftm who likes girls and think they're a lesbian, even if they present as male. "stick it to em and have a laugh" is my favorite way of shaming narrow minded assholes!!! (not to say that your dad is an ass hole)

Regarding the audience: Even if it's a small one, it's important that that audience get someone who's willing to address them and their issues, because the mainstream media by and large ain't touching it. So I always appreciate it when content creators are willing to do something for a group like this. (FWIW I'm cis so this doesn't apply to me personally, but I'm glad when people do create content for marginalized groups, whether or not I'm part of them.)
Also, as with other lgbt groups, there's no surefire way to know just how many people are closeted, and sometimes it can help us to escape from that closet if we can see that there are people who know what we're struggling with. You may be reaching more of the population than you think.

Ohhhh boy have I been there with my own dad. I'm gay, so he insisted that "since you've got the right parts, why be a boy?" He STILL doesn't quite get that sex and gender aren't inherently connected at all, even though it was discovered in 1910!

Better than your dad considering them a horny bunch of somethings who want to use their *eherm* penis on everything... :/

I FREAKING LOVE THIS! It's so freaking funny. Seriously, if this was a sitcom, I'd watch every episode.

I can actually see this being pretty funny. While my dad was raised old-fashioned, he genuinely tries to be modern. He once asked me if there was a different term for feminine lesbians and butch lesbians. Also, my grandfather, who once had a little too much wine and told me "I guess I don't mind if you're lesbian as long as you're the man in the relationship."

This made me lol.
I got this comment quite often, especially from a brother's friend
'Soooo are you butch dyke?right?'
'No,i'm male, i'm straight, i like girls'
'... So you ARE lesbian?'
'.. no, i think something's wrong with your eyesight, i'm straight and i like girls'
'.....so you AAAAARE lesbian right?'
I think for some reason, certain people don't GRAAAAASP the things someone is saying. rly now.
But srsly, i'd watch this, i'd watch this good.

I like that in the last image the dad's shirt changes color from '#2 pencil' yellow to one of the manliest shades of pink on the planet... all while he's giving the "AAAyyyeeee Duuuunnnno!" shrug. That's pure hotness in comic format right there!

My dad loves his pink polo shirts! Also yes, the exaggerated shrug is one of God's greatest gifts.
