Fantastic use of light and shadow. I love the use of white material as well to really contrast those shadows.

I've looked at this shot for two days now (not constantly, I do have a life!). At first I wasn't sure, then I figured it disturbed me a little bit. Couldn't quite put my finger on it. Then I realised that's what I like most about the shot, it's what you can't see; what it doesn't say; that really makes it a very powerful shot indeed! Well done Johann.

Very nicely lit, but I have a minor nit pick with the pose/title. Having his head down makes him look a bit submissive, hardly the attitude of a thug.

it's a very good shot. the lighting is magnificent and seems to go with the gansta style. just one question: is the tattoo fake?

No, it's not. But soon after he got it, he fell and it damaged the tattoo. After about an hour of trying to fix it, I gave up.

Yeh, similar kinda thing happened to my tattoo. But it was self-inflicted. I have a messed up spot on the one side where I scratched when it was healing. Stupid me.
