I'm surprised you would favorite somethin of mine? Especially when it's un finsihed haha.. You're amazing. Animals are a pain for me, and yet you do them with fluid lines and great color. I like the moment you have here.

I will. It's taking forever, but only because i'mbeing lazy with it. I don't blend when i color, so it's just cross hatching the whole time with different colors.

thank you! im trying to move away from the starkness photorealism into something more expressive, i find that much more interesting now!

I completely agree
Its always great to know photorealism though, as those skillz are totally compatible with any expressive things you do and well help your expressive artwork be believable as well as kick ass. good luck

This reminds me of my Fifa.
Goh-san, I loved this. I hope you don't mind me asking, other than the ref pic, did you start from scratch? Also, I am getting a tablet toward the end of the month. Could you recommend one?

hi! thanks so much :3
yes, i started from scratch. 1 layer for the solid background, then another on top for the basic blocked in shapes for the kitty (with all the shading), then a final one on top with the fur highlights.
i have the opinion that any tablets just fine - it's how you use it that counts! mines a wacom bamboo fun, and have no issues with it!

thanks; a few people whom I've asked seem to all recommend that tablet, so I'll probably just buy that one.
But if my art comes out bad I'll still blame it on the tablet
