FINALLY. If this doesn't improve my typing speed three-fold, i don't know what will.Anyways, it's a treefrog! Trying my hardest to make this typography as realistic as possible! Lotsa colours (maybe too many, was a killer to fill each alphabet individually), lotsa textures, and lotsa FUN!
Almost one week of work, hope you'll enjoy it.
(why not full view it to see each alphabet? lol)

this piece is also extremely good, although i do prefer the simplistic quality of the zebra piece.
it must take so much patience to acomplish something of this detail through the use to typography

Wow! Not only is a lovely piece to look at, but when you look at full view... I can't imagine how much patience this must have taken, especially with all the little frogs that make up the frog (strange phrase of the day, anyone?). I love it

beautiful! i've tried my hand at typography... and WOW. this is absolutely awesome. the detail astounds me. i think something of this complexity is what i'll strive to get to in the future

lol microsoft '98 screensaver tree frog.. this would have been great on a white background, but a bloody good effort I must say! you continue to impress me! And to tell the truth, I thought you should have won 1st place hands down! but I guess it was coz your hope theme wasn't overly evident.

This piece is indeed - very realistic. Your technical skill is very impressive, and the final result looks good.
One thing that bothers me about this piece is that I feel it somehow dims its typographic nature. I think that in order to make the drawing super-realistic you made the letters *too* small and cramped and insignificant and they get lost, even when the drawing is viewed from up close...
Personally, I like your other typographic works better (the Zebra Eye and hope.).
With all that said, I still think the work is very attractive and eye-catching.

I just did my first picture including alphabets and now I stumbled over your pictures and this one is just amazing
it would have been worth more than the 4th place (ok, I haven't seen the others)

The thumb looked cool, but I wasnt expecting it to be made up of the word frog! When I enlarged a big smile came across my face. This is an awesome piece of work, really well done.
