Pre-Y2K artwork that I had submitted to another defunct online contest - this time it was the Monthly Anime Character competition. Unlike the MVGC though, the MAC site is long gone.The Black-Dragon & the Snow-Maiden
My last MAC submission, Togashi Yoshihiro's Hiei (and his beautiful snow-maiden sister, Yukina). Considering Hiei never seemed to admit to Yukina that they're related, I decided to put the two together in this pic (and to get to draw a purty girl in the process).

Although it is one of my earlier digital coloring attempts, it's not much different from how I color these days. I wouldn't trust myself in coloring outside of a computer - I end up reaching for an imaginary UNDO button.

If it's one of your earlier digital colouring attemps, it's pretty good! I can't manage as good as I'd like to yet. Most of the artwork in my gallery was coloured with watercolour and/or gouache.
Yep, I'm a fan of Hiei, I know is an old character now, but still love him loads!!
