MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This was a work commissioned by a really cool dude named Armand that was going to make a Golfing related website. He contacted me after I had posted my Neo Evangelion submission and wanted his mascot to look like Rei.

With a teaser for Christmas leading into the launch of the website the next year, he asked me to make a Christmas card that he'd give out. There were three different messages on the card - aside from what you see, there was also "Guess what Santa has for you this Christmas", and "Santa has discovered the joys of Golfing"

Unfortunately I'm not sure if the website was ever made. I do know that I was sooo slow in finishing the various Rhei images (there was a total of 9) that he lost patience with me and stopped communicating (or was it I was avoiding him... I can't remember anymore). Although I did complete all of the images, most are still in rough form - I just might clean them up for uploading one of these days.

The original image was a 300 dpi scan at 8.5 x 11 inches so that it could look nice when printed, but I halved it in size for the upload here. Do please use the Download link in order to get the 1250 x 1750 sized image.

Since he spelled it Rhei, that's what I used when naming the image.
