I've redone this scene in close up using Iray. Although it's not original I hope fans of Jack will enjoy it. The full render is quite huge and is available via the download button.Related content

Jack's eyes look a lighter shade here. And there seems to be less shading or modeling in his face. But you can't put too much stock in what an older gent with cataracts has to say! WWL

The whole render is a little washed out, and I'm not particularly happy with it. I made this quite early on after this particular rendering technology was introduced and I hadn't got to grips with it.

Yes, agreed about "washed out". Its like an outdoor pastel in tonal effect compared to a full range oil painting. By no means bad, but it makes Jack of lesser visual impact than he should be. Since its done and posted on DA I guess you would have to take the image down and rework it, then repost it. Maybe not worth the effort? My best WWL
