Honestly, sending him back in time won't erase his memories. He'll still have to live with all the knowledge of the crap he went through, and nightmares of the monsters and stuff. So why bother? Hyrule's gonna have a kid running around screaming about Volvagia and Bongo, and no one's gonna know what he's talking about cuz it "never happened!"

Zelda may have sat around and done nothing, but I'd never have gotten to Spirit Temple as a youngster without Sheik's help.
Anyway, when this happened, I was like "I don't wanna be a kid again! I wanna use these Golden Gauntlets more! I want to be cool with the Zora Tunic! I want the hookshot to work for me! I wanna shoot the crap outta evil with Light Arrows! I wanna keeeeep the Biggoron Sword that I worked my butt off to get!"
