Description
Ok this is my fist.... well my second but the first one will be posted right after this one. Ok here goes.....NOTE
this is not the average tutorial that gives you a step by step prosses on how to copy the work you see on your screen. Rather I intend to give more "Pointers" That will eather help you get started of help you see somthing you may have missed.
OK.... #1 starts us out with the shap of a t-shirt, this is what I will be using for an example.
Now go to #2. The black spots are what I like to call "tension points" these are points in wich the normal flow of the cloth is disruped causing folds. The ones I maked are not the only ones and they do change when your drawing diffrent poses. First off, you must imagin how the cloth reacts to whatever your charecture. Like this picture. They are what I determined to be the most prevelint tension points on the body. All lines start fome these points and fan out. The thing you want to avoid most is contradicting lines.
OK go to #3
A) ok you see how I drew it going round the back there? Ok, just wanted to point it out.
B) you dont have to draw all of the folds, somtimes you can just do the beginings of them and let the persons imagination take hold after that. Als you can further follow up the lines with shading.
C) I always just show a little folding at the end, I figure it blows the most in the wind s most the time your gunna get a little folding at the end.
anyway I know that wasent a verry good tutorial but after I got down to actualy doing it, it was harder then I thought. My feet tutorial is much better.
