This is for the male uniform jacket from Persona 4 (like this ). Sorry if the pattern is a little hard to understand; this is how I usually draw them, and it works for me.
I have not actually made this, and so it might still need some tweaking. Since this is all flat patterning, it's not quite as reliable as draping. It's a pretty standard design, though, so this should work. It's generally better to err on the side of too big than too small (you can take in as much as you want, but you can only let out so much), so if you're worried, make it a touch bigger.
This pattern assumes a 1/2 inch seam allowance.

I love the visual for this! However, I just had a quick question as to how the measurements worked for the front and back pieces. Do they go like (Chest/4)+2.5ā, or is it more (Chest+2.5ā)/4?

The first one! (C/4)+2.5". The 2.5" is the seam allowance plus some ease (extra room so the outfit isn't skin tight!). So you add it after you've determined the base size of the piece. I always recommend for any pattern you should first make a mock-up (a test version in cheap fabric) so you can test the size and fit/make adjustments to your pattern as needed. I hope it turns out well!

Thank you so much! For a final product, what fabric material do you recommend? I was thinking cotton would be a cheap choice, but Iām still fairly new to this.

Nothing wrong with cotton! It has more to do with how the fabric is made than what it's made of. I would avoid thin cottons like quilting cottons or broadcloths - they won't hold shape well enough. I'd recommend a bottomweight - once upon a time JoAnns organized their fabrics by usage rather than color, and the bottomweights were all together. But basically you want a fabric with a good amount of body/weight/thickness, and little or no stretch (all fabrics will stretch on the diagonal, so test parallel and perpendicular to the sides of the fabric). Other than that, just look for an appearance that appeals to you. There's really no right answer!

Sure. It's pretty simple math, so I'm sure it'll be fine. And if in doubt, round up. It's better to be too large than too small.
