Excellent digital rendering. I have added it to my favorites. Thank you for your comment regarding my traditional space art. I do dip my fingers in the digital paints from time to time however, traditional bristle brush and pigments remain my personal choice.

Really really nice job. This is probably one of the best planet/space scenes I've seen in a while. I love how sharp the planet looks against the blur effect of the star. If I may ask, how did you get the star to look like that? It's friggin sexy...
Good choice of color for the planet also, I love the aqua. The lighting effects are also very good.
At first glance, this may look like a satellite photo (perhaps minus the spaceship orbiting the planet)

and that glare.... well mainly of it its just simple render of lens flare from photoshop... just stretched, transformed, warped and so on

All very funky. Mabye just a little too strong contrat on the planet at some parts, mainly on the backside of the gas body.
Good color scheme and overall good quality.
Mabye some more atmosphere on them both planets would've worked, in theory. You be the one to judge it hehe.
