You do some great artwork. I especially like this composition. One minor detail.
Unless these spaceships are launching at some hyper speeds, planetary rotation
should make their vapor trails curve.

Reminds me of the Futurama movie Beast with a Billion Backs where the earth is threatened by a massive alien so they build a giant shield out hexagon-shaped pieces of a diamond-like material around the earth, only for the alien to still break through like it was nothing
Of course, being a cartoon - it wasn't nearly this detailed
