Blah, boredom with color pencils (faber-castell). Fixed it up in Photoshop after scanner butchered... mutiple layers with Gaussian Blur works great for lots of fixes. ^^ I like it better than the original actually.
I drew this while watching a program about the Middle East. Dude, don't get me started on how women are treated over there. I'm totally fuming about it. And you *know* it's gonna take a huge upheavel to change anything because it's so based in tradition and anything to do with tradition is linked in religion and religion just fucks up the world. It's slavery for women damn it! A whole culture locking women away as maids/dolls/punching bags/baby machines... must I go on? And yes not all families mistreat women but the society as a whole does not view them as equals and... well I'm pissed. Can you tell?

Yeah, so it's not much but I'm drawing again. Yay! (drew two other pictures this week but I have to color them before you can see) Don't feel crazy anymore and I want to draw although I can't draw what I want to... I guess I should just accept I'm not a drawing machine and wait for inspiration instead of hyping over it. Erm, sorry for not talking to anyone. Just not in a talking mood this lifetime it seems.
