Hello everyone coming at you with another commission and story pitch, this time a Loud House Boxing Au.

Now for the Pitch itself, this AU will focus on the ships of Ronnie/Lincoln and Clyde/Lynn. Taking inspiration from the first Rocky film. The characters are now in their late twenties and all surrounding characters show that as well Lori would be in her early to mid-thirties, while Lilly would be starting her freshman year in College. Also in this AU Lincoln, and Ronnie never met at a young age and are meeting for the first time now.
In this Ronnie is her regular tough self she works at her family's shop in the city. Bobby left to look for work to help out the family, he still calls and sends money back home. The shop is getting by but barely, everyone is pitching to help keep it afloat including Ronnie. Ronnie Anne boxes topless at a seedy bar in the city late Friday Nights for cash, she's actually really good at boxing and can beat any opponent who steps in the ring with her. But she doesn't because the real money comes from throwing the fights. The Bar has a little betting ring where patrons bet on who gonna win the round or the whole match. Ronnie has a setup with the owner where based on the bets being made she'll either win or throw the fight for a small bit of the winnings.
This is her life, but there's also something else. The Boxing happens in the back room of the bar, but before she goes in the back of the bar there is this White haired man every Friday just drinking by his lonesome. Lincoln Loud is an aspiring comic artist and writer who is currently working at the comic store he loved at as a child. And Ronnie is smitten with him, but she's too scared to approach him. Despite the tough act and her strength Ronnie thinks very little of herself, she believes if she tried to go for greater things she would fail. Which is why she never tried to leave the bar to become a real boxer since it's obvious her skills are above that place. And why the only way she can interact with Lincoln is by going to the Comic shop and buying comics she doesn't even want. Eventually through Shenanigans Ronnie does end up talking to Lincoln and he admits that he did notice her at the bar, but assumed that she was out of his league. The two laugh at their collective stupidity on the matter and start hanging out eventually going to a relationship.
Meanwhile, Lynn is living the dream, having become The Woman's Middleweight champion of the world and has held onto her title undefeated for quite some time. Most contenders barely make it round two with her, while the lucky ones get to round 3. Lynn loves being the Champ but is bored with all the easy wins she's been getting, though she has something else to keep her occupied. Clyde Lincoln's childhood friend had become Lynn's Manager and a very good one at that. Though they go beyond a working relationship and have a "Friends with Benefits" situation going on, that both do enjoy very much. But Clyde is hoping for something more because he does love Lynn and is sitting on the idea of proposing to her.
But that will have to wait because Lynn's popularity is dropping which is not good for her sponsors. Due to all the quick KO's many are assuming that Lynn is being fed weaker opponents or that the others were paid to take a fall. Lynn is of course pissed by this since she worked dang hard to get where she is and she never even consider paying someone off or fighting someone she didn't think would last. And this kinda goes to a Fear Lynn has throughout the story, Lynn is the over-achiever, she has her classic ego and overconfidence and she's a bit obsessed with showing everyone that she is the best, holding onto her title and that she's earned it fair and square. No shady dealings, no steroids or performance enhancers, just good old fashioned hard work. Lynn has this fear of falling behind and not being good enough being forgotten, that all her hard work was for nothing. She's on the verge of having a crisis, she's in her late twenties and she knows about how people can't be sports stars forever. She spent so much time training to be the best and the idea that one day she won't have enough scares her. So with Clyde, they will tackle that fear and come closer together.
But Lynn is coming back home to Royal Woods and her promoters think this is a good time to set up a match to get her back in the public good graces, a match against the best in the middleweight class. They had everything set up and ready to make an announcement until her opponent got in an accident and hurt her arm putting her out of commission for a few months longer than what it would take to make this happen. They already had everything in place and it was all going to go to waste if she didn't have an opponent. A lot of the other top boxers are busy with their own things and most of Lynn's previous opponents are rushing to have a rematch with her, some having already tried. So things were looking bleak for this, but then they came up with the idea of giving a title shot to a local boxer in Royal Woods. Lynn is coming home and its a perfect gimmick.
As they search the town, they mostly come up with nothing every viable contender on the same boat of "So you want me to get in the ring with the world champ, so I can get my ass kicked for a round in front of my friends, family, and probably the whole country. No thanks." So it wasn't looking good, until they got to Ronnie. She initially gave the same answer, but the promoters did some research on her and knew of her shady dealings. Thus knowing she can take a punch and a fall they offer her more money than usual if she can make it to the third round. Ronnie seeing this as another paycheck agrees.
Lynn, however, is not on board with this idea "You want me to step in the ring with some nobody, so I can kick their ass for a round? When everybody is thinking I fight weaker opponents to look good". The promoter pitches the idea as a way to boost her popularity by giving a title shot to a low-rank boxer. And convince her to have the fight last three rounds to make her look good. She's not happy about it since this isn't how she wants to do things, but see's the benefit and agrees. But due to this, she thinks very little of Ronnie as a boxer when they first meet and as you guessed when she figures out her little brother is dating this loser she is not happy at all.
So the two immediately start to butt heads leading up to the match. Ronnie suddenly getting a shot in the arm by Lynn's provocations and looking back at her life. She decides to train up and give it her all during her match to prove to everyone and herself that she is somebody, with Lincoln helping her. While Lynn is having her crisis and Clyde is helping her with that, showing her that she has more to give and that her legacy can be more than a belt. Eventually leading to the big match where the two will square off. Who will take the belt in the end, I don't know because I haven't decided yet.

This is the base of the idea I have, not sure if it will become something in the future. But hey I like putting this stuff down to look back on.
