-Was given that Day. . .-Listen, ive ALWAYS loved Gorons, they are single-handedly, my favorite race in the Zelda series . . .
And i never had been able to play Majora's Mask as a child, and havent been able to do so until recently, and if you are unaware. . . . you can play as a Goron in this game...
The Goron mask has been in my key-inventory slots since i got it..He is easilly the best, he has the most power in combat, can tuck into a ball and move quicker than ANY form of transportation in-game, and can walk in lava. . . As well as be immune to several kinds of enemy attacks..such as carnivorous platform plants. . . and most hilariously..Redeads n Gibdo's.... they will simply bounce off his mighty gurth and be unable to harm him in any way destroying all fears i had of em until that moment.
Sucks that Gorons cant move into water in the game though (But thats remedied in Twilight Princess where apparently... they can breathe underwater )

ehh im still on the fence about that one XD while i do greatly enjoy being a Goron and i do indeed lve all the darker aspects of Majoras Mask, ive felt a more spiritual Connection with Ocarina of time through the idea that its a straight forward adventure, dungeons and progression, and your deeds being recognized for it. While in Majoras Mask , they still harbor the Dungeon and progression thing, and i do enjoy some of the trippy feels to it, i can wrap myself around the idea that " It took me 3 days to save your marriage, and youre an angsty mask-wearing Midget again GRR " and "How many times do i have to kill the aliens, and fight off the Weegee bros to get a hug dammit"
Theres a definite stalemate at the time, but i dont think i can fully decide until i have beaten Majora's Mask XD

Fair enough. And I guess some people would have problems with how the game is like 20% story and 80% sidequests and how the only way to actually save, is to play the song of time and go back to day 1, loosing all your ammunition items and and Rupees you have in your wallet in the process. >n> But, the time limit isn't so bad if you just play the song of time backwards.
It also brings lulz when watching certain cutscenes at 1/3rd time.

They don't breathe underwater. The Goron that was trying to hold it's breath had a little air vent sticking out on top of his head (and out of the water.)

uhm no , in twilight Princess there is a goron imprisoned in the Blazing rock you had to teleport to the Zora temple to thaw the ice, once you bomb the stone he's in, he will stand at the bottom of the lagoon (being well over 30-feet underwater) and talk to you as if he was standing on land

Also, it's worth noting, Goron link is the only form that is immune to knockback/flinching from iron knuckle attacks. He still takes damage, but doesn't flinch. It's a reasonable strategy for fight the few iron knuckles you come cross by punching them insanely with goron link, you'll only end up losing a few hearts by the time they're dead.
