Lina Inverse from SlayersOne of the best heroine out there. When I discovered the series, I was addicted. She wasn't a whinny useless girl that appear in most show.
I realised that I hadn't finished any of the fanart I ever made of her, (I never finish my fanart...) so I brought out old ones and decided to color them. I hope to be able to make Zel, Gourry, Amelia.

The reason Lina eats so much has to do with her large energy pool (or magic pool) that she draws from to cast spells. Since Lina uses very energy-intense magic spells like Dragon Slave frequently, it burns massive amounts of calories, so she has to eat a lot of food to regain those calories and replenish her magic pool.
Gourry eats a lot for the same reason--as one of the greatest swordsmen in the world he burns massive amounts of calories when fighting, so he has to pig out.
Same logic follows through to Zelgadis and Amelia, but since they usually function at lower energy levels than Lina and Gourry (and are not as powerful) they don't have to eat as much.
