This is my design for the MYO Owline slot I purchased off Fenick-Fang .

Wow. I think I bought this MYO slot back in August and am only finishing it now? Huh. Then again, I did redesign it several times on the base they provided, and considering my wrists, I don't think I did too bad.

This is the first attempt I've had at a 1-2 layer cell-shade that had around 10 layers merged together and a more detailed lighting, though I can definitely tell I need to improve a bit in both. Also, I'm not exactly happy with the lineart, but it's kind of the best I attempted with my wrists. One thing I really do like, however, is the eye. I was testing out styles in eyes as I wasn't satisfied with the style I used on my previous artwork of Cyclone, and I love how this turned out. Never intentionally made it to look like that, but I'm probably going to stick with it from now on.

The 'sticker' style is a new style I attempted is also a test to see if it is something I would add as a commission option when I open them up. Yeah, just to make it publicly official, I am planning on opening up commissions in the future, after my wrists are healed and I've gotten through the majority of my To-Do List.

On to the character, I don't have an official name for her just yet, but am using the temporary name Her name will officially now be Nova, which will be nickname for her full name. A bit of trivia on her:
She has several personal accessories, including a heart-shaped hairclip she uses to hold her ponytail together and her eyepatch.
She doesn't wear her eyepatch just for the hell of it; she cannot see out of that eye.
Nova prefers to travel by daylight as her light colours would stand out too much at night.
She is a Forest and City Owline, though her fur doesn't off much camouflage.

Some of her markings I haven't made as clear in this artwork as I did on the base, such as the markings on her knees/thighs aren't just a few circular shapes. Sometime in the future, I will attempt to draw a side view of her as well. Suppose this is one MYO down, four more to go. I won't rush them, though, as I still have requests and a couple of Contest Prizes to finish. I shall have to get some artworks of her such as commissions; the same with my Nebukuro, Estelle.

Once again, I will say I am not off hiatus, I am trying to rest my wrists as much as possible, but I still need to keep them somewhat strong and attempt to draw a bit each day as a sort-of personal rehab for them. If you are all wondering how it is that I am typing right now, I have been using demos of speech-to-text programs on my laptop, which is also the reason why I haven't been responding to many comments, replies or Notes recently as well as why I might not respond to most of them, and I do apologise for that. If anyone knows of a speech-to-text program that is free and is legitimate, please let me know below as the demo for the latest program I installed runs out in a couple of days.

I have almost finished another character design some of you may recognise it from my Page and hope to upload it within the next week. As for being online afterwards, we'll have to wait and see.
